Making Fresh Produce ACCESSIBLE To All!

Resourceful Communities provided a Creating New Economies Fund (CNEF) grant in 2020, 2021 and 2022 to support GSFP’s mission of proving more fresh fruits and vegetables for Bertie County residents.

We purchase locally grown produce from farmers of every race , gender, and even youth farmers from the Bertie early college each week to have the best quality available weekly at the farmers market.  The students gain marketing, entrepreneurial and communication skills.  Produce that isn't sold at the market is donated to GSFP for distribution to the community.

The Windsor Farmers Market also showcases local independent vendors selling items such as raw honey, fresh eggs, and baked goods.
